Alexa authorization ​

Prerequisites ​

You must have an Alexa developer account.

Authorization ​

To create a new authorization, please follow these steps:

  1. Select a security profile from Your Security Profiles dropdown. To add a new profile, select the Add a security profile option or click the Gear menu > Add, then follow the instructions in the modal window.

  2. Provide a friendly name to the authorization in the Name this authorization field. This name will be listed in the Authorization section of the Alexa Steps throughout your OneReach.ai account. A unique name is not required but is recommended.

  3. Select where to save authorization in the dropdown.

  4. Optional: deselect the unnecessary scopes if available.

  5. Click Authorize now. A new Amazon tab will open.

  6. Enter the login and password of the Alexa developer account, then click Allow.

After you finish this process, the authorization with the given name will become available in the authorization dropdown of the Step. To find it, close the modal window and click the Refresh button under the Gear icon.
